your face slogan, and it is seen more frequently in the north than in Jerusalem
or Tel Aviv. One of the controversies that was rocking the state
of Israel while we were there is should Israel return the Golan heights
to Syria in exchange for peace? In the Golan, the Israelis have been
creating the intrastructure for an economically viable society: houses,
business, gas stations, grocery stores, and internet cafes. The longer
Syria dithers over whether or not to accept Israels' existance, the more
difficult it will be for the Israelis to give up their capital investment
in it.
